13 years.
What is your most rewarding experience with CRB?
Working for a company that truly supports their communities and the businesses and organizations within those communities.
What advice would you give to someone thinking about a career in banking?
Just do it. Some people think you have to be excellent at Math and that is helpful, but there are many jobs in banking that you can move up to after you start.
What was the first job you ever had?
My very first summer job was mowing at a company in Cannon Falls. Worst summer job was laying sod for a sod farm. Brutal.
If you could go anywhere on vacation, where would it be?
As a family we have made several trips to Duluth and still love going there. If we’re talking a dream vacation it would be a tour of Italy. My daughter studied abroad there last summer and I have been envious of her ever since.

Deposit Operations Fraud Specialist.

What is your most rewarding experience with CRB?
I enjoy learning new things because that means I can help in more areas.
What advice would you give to someone thinking about a career in banking?
There are so many different aspects to banking. It’s not just being a teller or a banker. Just keep an open mind and you may find something that fits you best. CRB is the second bank I’ve worked for and in both I’ve found there are many opportunities to find your right fit.
What was the first job you ever had?
I’ve had a wide variety of jobs, but my first job was with McDonald’s in Northfield. This was back when I was in Middle School/High School.
If you could go anywhere on vacation, where would it be?
I’m a bit of a homebody, but right now I’m working on learning Japanese because my daughter would love for me to take her there some day.
