Highlighted Employees

Our story is told through our people.

At CRB we’re proud of the employees who serve our communities. Because of this, we like to periodically highlight individuals who truly represent what Community Resource Bank stands for.

Glenda Pooley

What is your role with CRB?
Senior Teller.

How long have you worked for CRB?
17 years.

What do you enjoy most about your role with CRB?
I enjoy the customers and my coworkers. CRB has been very good to me over the years and I have not only learned a lot about banking, but also learned a lot about my customers and their needs.

What got you into banking, and what do you love most about it?
I came here from a job I loved but they had very little for benefits. I found out that working at CRB was also rewarding and came to know and love that they truly care about their customers and employees.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself.
My greatest joy outside of work is playing my violin. I play in the Roseville String Ensemble, in church, in small groups for different occasions, from weddings to Grand Openings and other fun events. I also enjoy taking my grandchildren to violin and piano lessons. They already show a lot of talent for their young age. I also enjoy knitting, especially large afghans and gardening.

What is one unique thing about yourself that you love?
Many people compliment me on my smile. Also when people hear my name is Glenda, they say like Glynda the good witch?

Peter Scheffert

What is your role with CRB?
Vice President, Commercial/Ag Business.

How long have you worked with CRB?
6 years.

What do you enjoy the most about your role with CRB?
Helping people financially to meet their goals and dreams.

What got you into banking, and what do you love most about it?
It was a natural way to continue my lifelong intent to help people understand their finances and make their numbers talk to them. When they make a financial decision that leads to a smile and a success, it’s rewarding.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself.
I am a farm kid with an itch to see the world. I spent two years working/living in Botswana, Africa and climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro.

What is one unique thing about yourself that you love?
Having a great spouse and children that also love to travel and appreciate the differences and variety that bring color and breadth to life.

Let’s bank together.

At CRB, banking together means you’re getting a resource for life’s financial journey.
